Kevin’s Bio
Kevin’s practice focuses on complex and general commercial litigation, business disputes, real estate litigation, and healthcare law. With a background in journalism and politics, Kevin brings a unique perspective to his legal practice, characterized by a distinctive style of inciteful research and passionate representation of his clients.
Kevin is actively involved with the Florida Bar serving on the Government Advocacy Committee, as well as being a member of the Business Law section and the Health Law section, where he is involved as a member of the Membership Engagement Committee. He is also admitted to practice in Washington D.C. and Illinois.
Before coming to Stok Kon + Braverman, Kevin represented hospital systems and physician groups in complex reimbursement disputes with payors involving numerous managed care issues including pre/post payment audits, site of care, subsequent admissions, ERISA, and non-par billed charges. Kevin has presented at the Health Care Conference for the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants on “Emergency Non-Par Billed Charges and the No Surprises Act.”
A native South Floridian, Kevin obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he received the CALI Award for excellent achievement in the study of Legal Communications.
