Edward’s Bio


Edward is Of Counsel to the firm of Stok Kon + Braverman, with a practice focused on Real Estate transactions, Probate & Trust Administration and Estate Planning. Edward received his Juris Doctorate from the Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, in 1985. After graduating from law school, he concentrated his practice on real estate matters having first represented real estate Developers, and Sponsors of condominium and cooperative offerings. He followed up that experience by representing tenants’ groups in cooperative conversions. 

After practicing at New York firms from 1986-1992, Edward relocated from New York to Florida in 1992. He has operated a civil practice with areas of concentration in Real Estate, Estate & Trust Administration and Estate Planning, available to represent clients throughout the state of Florida. He has represented lending institutions, condominium associations, cooperative corporations and tenants groups; closed commercial loans, mortgage refinances, sales and acquisitions of buildings, individual units, single family homes and businesses; negotiated and drafted mortgage and loan documents, contracts and leases. Edward has testified in Federal Court as an expert witness in the area of  Real Estate. In the past, he taught real estate practice as an adjunct professor at Nova Law School. 

Edward is well versed in Estate Planning.  He has administered Estates and Trusts for the past 35 years having represented fiduciaries including personal representatives, trustees and guardians.  Admitted to practice in New York and Florida, Edward focuses his law practice in Florida. He continues to enjoy working with clients, attorneys and other professionals in New York, New Jersey, and from around the United States. He is routinely consulted by colleagues around the country concerning legal matters which require attention in Florida.
